The Tsunami

The tsunami is a terrible thing.

Tsunamis are destructive waves caused by seafloor earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, seafloor landslides or meteorological changes. The speed of tsunamis is as high as 700 KM/k .

When a tsunami is near the coastline, it will be tens of meters high, to be a “water wall."

In history, the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami was very terrible.

December 26, 2004, there was an earthquake in India. The tsunami triggered by the earthquake even endangered coastal residents as far away as Somalia; 166,000 people died in Indonesia alone, more then 2 million people were homeless. It was the worst tsunami disaster in the world in more than 200 years.

The tsunami is about ten meters tall. It is so fast, maybe you haven’t recovered; you are caught up in the tsunami.

This is a sad historical event; I express my condolences to those are injured and homeless.

Zhenghe Traveling to the West

Zhenghe was a minister of the Ming dynasty (About 1368 A.D~1644 A.D). In his whole life, the greatest thing he did is he traveled to the west. It happened in about 1405 A.D~1433 A.D

The Ming dynasty was the most powerful kingdom in the world when Zhenghe was young. Ming’s emperor wanted to get more money and technology, so he let Zhenghe travel to other kingdom by ship. Zhenghe took many kinds of technology and many things made in Ming to exchange.

Finally he came back to Ming kingdom. He traveled to Java, Sumatra, Sulu, Pahang, Zhenla, Guri, Siam, Pangkath, Adan, Tianfang, Zofal, Hurumus, Mudu Bung and more than 30 countries.

Ming’s emperor was happy. He awarded Zhenghe and he let he traveled again.

Zhenghe started his travel again. He traveled to others countries and exchanged their technologies and weapons. He traveled seven times. He died when he was in the last travel. He even traveled to Africa, he took many pieces of pottery to there.

Zhenghe’s traveling is greatness because he opened the door of the business between the countries. His traveling was the first time buying and selling between the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa.

Zhuge Liang

If you are a Chinese person, you must have heard the name of a person, you must have heard the name of a person that is Zhuge Liang.

It is a very very famous person. In China he means wisdom.

He is wisdom because he knows person’s  heart, knows astronomical, geography. You know in ancient it is very not easy.

There was a person named Zhou Yu don’t like Zhuge Liang. He told Zhuge Liang to made 100,000 arrows in 10 days. But Zhuge Liang said he just need  three days. Zhuge Liang use a foggy day  and CaoCao’s paranoid character, finally borrowed more then 100,000 arrows back. I think he was very smart.

I read many books about Zhuge Liang, in books, every times, when people is in dangerous, Zhuge Liang always have good idea to save people. So when I see Zhuge Liang appear, I will be very happy.

I like Zhuge Liang because he is smart and tolerant. I am happy that we have a people likes  Zhuge Liang in China.

ChangE and YuTu

Have you ever heard the story of ChangE and YuTu? It’s an old story in China. It’s about ChangE  who lives on the moon. The YuTu is ChangE’s friend. It’s a cute little rabbit. They live together. But today, Chinese make this story become true.

ChangE Is the China Lunar Exploration Satellite. The YuTu is the China Moon Rover. In 2018, CNSA send ChangE Fourth flew to the moon. ChangE 4th takes the YuTu 2nd .They flew to the reverse side of the moon. China is the first country to send the Lunar Exploration Satellite to the reverse side of the moon.

Now, the ChangE and YuTu are sleeping because the moon is having the 9th moon night. ChangE and YuTu finish their works. But they are still useful. CNSA will use them to do some others works .

In the future, China will send Mars Probe. Peoples wants to it a name “NeZha ”. It’s another hero in Chinese story. “NeZha”. He is the hero by using fire. “Mars” mean  fire in China. We think this is a good name for the Probe.

I believe human will never stop their step to explore the space. In the future, human will stand on the top of space!

Sima Yi

Sima Yi was a man of the Three-Kingdom period. He was the adviser of the Wei kingdom. But in the last of Three-Kingdom Period, he was the real winner. Let me tell you about Sima Yi.

He tried to pass the test when he was young. In the Three-Kingdom period, if you pass this test, you can get a great work. Sima Yi passed the test, and he get a job in the Wei Kingdom. He’s going give advise to Caocao (The king of the Wei Kingdom).

In 220 A.D, Caocao died. In all of Caocao’s sons,  Caopi and Caozhi are the best. Sima Yi supported Caopi to be the king of Wei. But some minister was support  Caozhi.

Finally, after the war of the minster, Caopi became the king of Wei. He feel  grateful to Sima Yi. So SimaYi became a general of Wei.

Sima Yi fought with Zhuge Liang,the general of Shu kingdom. When he come back, Caopi was happy and he gave him many presents.

But when he’s old, Caopi’s cousin, Caoshaung was fought with Shu, he’s a good  general too. Sima Yi was his boss, he think he wasn’t a good fighter now, so he want Sima Yi died .

Sima Yi was afraid of Caoshuang because he knew Caoshuang wanted to kill him. So he resigned his work and back to his hometown.

Now, Caoshuang was the most powerful general. Sima Yi resigned his work, but he’s still angry about Caoshuang. So he made a plan.

It’s about an action to revenged. Caoshaung was hunt in the day of the action. In the morning, Sima Yi’s bodyguard fight  with the soldier of Wei, and he hold the capital.

Caoshaung was angry and afraid when he knew Sima Yi hold the capital of Wei. And finally, he surrendered.

The Wei defeat the other two kingdom. But Sima Yi defeat the Wei. Sima Yi’s son build  the Jin Dynasty. That’s Sima Yi’s whole  life.
